Publicity Toolkit
YALSA has created a number of publicity resources for you to use to promote your library's Teen Tech Week involvement. For your convenience, we've created a downloadable, customizable toolkit for you to use.
The toolkit includes:
- a sample press release
- scripts for public service announcements
- sample letters to the editor (one from teens, one from parents)
- a sample proclamation
- The Get Connected logo (for this year's theme-specific logo, please register.)
All items are available in the TTW Press Toolkit (zip file with four Word documents and hi- and lo-res versions of the Get Connected logo). Download it now!
You can also download and use any one of six recorded public service announcements featuring Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongebob Squarepants. The six PSAs were provided by Galaxy Press. Download all six PSAs (zip file containing six mp3 files).

Registration Benefits
After you register, you'll receive an email directing you to the Geek Out @ your library logo. In addition:
- the first 98 registrants will receive complimentary registration for a webinar on Feb. 1, 2012, on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) resources. All other registrants will receive a recording of the webinar.
- one registrant will win a Skype session with author JJ Johnson in a random drawing, courtesy of TTW Partner Peachtree Publishers
- all registrants will be mailed a Technology Resource Pack, including bookmarks featuring YALSA's Amazing Audiobooks for Young Adults and a Social Networking for Teens brochure. The resource packs are designed to help you extend Teen Tech Week throughout the year and will not arrive in time for Teen Tech Week.
