Teen Tech Week: Making a Crete Teens Mix Tape!

The Crete Public Library was able to buy new sound recording equipment and software thanks to the YALSA/Best Buy Grant. One of our main projects during Teen Tech Week will see our Open Mic Night singers, instrumentalist, readers, and comedians collaborate to create a Crete Teens mix tape (or CD, I suppose, but mix tape sounds way cooler). For DIY I invited a local knitting and crochet instructor to teach students (and school staff) how to knit and crochet.  The activity may connect us to get involved in community projects like making blankets for recovering Veterans and prayer shawls for those in need.  Can't wait for TTW this year!
